On my way home, walking through Times Square, I saw this guy standing in the middle of the square: jeans, shirt, and a simple sign. On one side: "Time for the truth! Why are we in Iraq?" On the other side: "$2 billion a day? Where's Osama?" It was quite striking... one person, a simple message, reaching thousands of passers-by, just by standing there. Though the face of the protestor was a little uncertain, and a little self-conscious, the overall effect was quite powerful, like the single protestor in Tienamen Square stopping the tanks...
